Protecting a Friend

One of my comrades-in-arms was suffering from dehydration and could not even go to the toilet by himself. I could only help by walking with him to the toilet, but coming back was a really painful challenge. Even though I wanted to protect my friend, I myself was also at risk because the air outside was so extremely cold, to the point where my body almost froze. When I felt such danger, I tried to think about how much more frail my comrad was, and I tried to get over it. Regardless, I remember it was a very painful experience. I tried to encourage myself as well as making sure I could keep my friend from falling on the ground.
