Exchanging a Gold Tooth for a Piece of Bread

There were some Soviet soldiers who wanted to negotiate, in exchange for a piece of bread, for the gold teeth of Japanese soldiers who were suffering with hunger. Those Russians sought the gold so enthusiastically that they even showed their gratitude by putting those gold teeth in their own mouths after they had become theirs. Some Soviet soldiers did not even get any consent from the Japanese soldiers and just opened their mouths by force to pull out their gold teeth with pliers.
