Humiliating Walking for the Day
In the midst of a fiercely cold Siberian wind, we had to begin walking in line early in the morning to our forced labor, and we worked until dark. At the end of the day, we walked back entirely exhausted, almost creeping on the icy road. This was a truly painful moment.
