Stacking Bricks
As we worked, building with bricks, we contrived various devices to stack them up straight. Some carried in bricks, some mixed cement, and others carried water—-we all worked together to complete our assignment; however, the Soviet soldiers always said, “Keep going! Hurry up!” and we had no time to rest. We kept trying hard to achieve our quota.
