Standing on Lake Baikal

We stood at Lake Baikal, the biggest fresh water lake in the world. It was vast, and was just amazingly huge.  The surface had become thick ice, and the way a truck was moving so fast on it was really fascinating. We wondered if Japanese were being carried in the truck for relocation. Speechlessly, we stood there, watching the truck dashing away. What a vast surface! The icy surface was frozen just in the way that waves were blown in the wind. It was a magnificent view of Nature.
