108-109: Chopping Wood

Coerced Heavy Labor

Coercion should not be allowed. Especially, forced labor is extremely cruel. Because we were physically exhausted due to scarce, bad food, our forced heavy labor troubled us in a way that was difficult to overcome.  This was an absolutely inhuman experience. We were abused in wood-chopping, carrying water, and all other sorts of difficult tasks. On top of that, they were constantly yelling, "Hurry up! Hurry up!", and we did not get any rest. The increase in the number of deaths was inevitable.
