The Captive Made to Become a Clown

After lunch, one of the Soviet soldiers on duty began to show off his tap dancing steps, and prompted the captives to do the same. Corporal Onodera from Tokyo responded, and began to dance his steps; however, he almost looked lika a clown since he had no strength left in his body. I was told to draw his face. We had no choice but to do these things simply because we needed even a little bit more leftovers on our plates.
