Leaving the Tent

As the result of harsh labor in Roochaki camp, the number of the Japanese who were detained decreased from 500 to 126. Remembering so many victims and their spirits, we had to move to Voloshilov camp, leaving life in the tent that was full of much sadness, numerous sorrows and difficulties. I had one dream and one hope in my heart: to be able to go home to Japan some day.
