Night Labor
It happened when I was in the Voloshilov Camp.
About two o' clock in the morning, we were forced to depart to do special labor, loading hay into train cars at a nearby station. Unfortunately, the hay that had been loaded onto the truck was not tied with rope. As I was sitting in the middle of it, I fell off of the truck with some of the hay, but the truck drove away without anyone noticing.
At that moment, all my past memories flashed through my head, and I thought that this could possibly be the end of my life.
