Checkup of Personal Belongings
When we finished the day's labor and went back to the tent, it was all upside down. We were told the Soviet soldiers had checked for weapons and dangerous items that might have been hidden, but they actually confiscated anything that they found good. It was actually the same as pillage. That recurred a couple of times, and we lost everything. We felt miserable.
